Default Anyone ever run with an FX45?

A friend of mine just picked one up, and after he had it broken in, we took a quick and friendly sprint against each other.

Coming out of a right turn, I was behind him, then moved in the lane next to him and was nearly bumper to bumper in first. (He told me later he gave me first, since his transmission didn't drop him down when he jumped on the gas.)

I kept up with him until third, redlining each gear, but by fourth he was definitely pulling ahead. By fifth, he was a car's length ahead and still pulling.

Fast little buggers- those Infinitis.

For reference, I drive a stock 2001 tip allroad with Pilot Sport A/S tires. His is a stock 2003 FX45 with Goodyear (?) A/S tires.

Yea, the interiors of those FXs.... ugh. All flash and gucci-esque. Yuck! I felt like I was sitting in a fake Louis Vuitton handbag!

Default A stock allroad has no chance against the Fx45. Once you chip, it gets very interesting as the

performance is almost identical. My stage II allroad (tip) has better low end torque and the FX45 comes alive at higher revs.

Default How does the interior space compare?

Just curious - the FX45 doesn't look very space-efficient from the outside.

Default It will fit 4 people in comfort but the trunk is much smaller than ar. I was replacing the S4, so,

space-efficiency was not a big concern. The FX45 is probably the most unpractical "SUV" out there. But I just couldn't resist its charms. =)
