Default Anyone know the correct lug bolt torque?

I will be putting on the snow tires in the next few weeks and I'm guessing its around 90 foot/pounds. Also, from my experience with wheels stuck to the hub on my A4s, other snow tire users may want to consider using anti-seize when installing snow tires. I use it where the hub contacts the wheel and a little on the bolts. Copper anti-seize works best and has a higher melting point than silver anti-seize so it won't run onto the brake rotors.

The S4 is 89 ft/lbs. I'd use the same for the allroad.

Spec is 90 ft lbs. Anti-seize is good idea, also dry off wheel and hub before install.

Default Re: Wheel/Tire Changeover - Reminder

For those taking yours to a garage to do the changeover, don't forget to tell them to put your allroad into "jack mode" before lifting the vehicle up on the hoist (or do it yourself just before the car is lifted).
