they have begun beta testing for the new S4 tuning which is specific to the S4 only "but may trickle down into other 2.7 applications in the future".

I wouldn't worry about it. It will come down and should not be that difficult.
The S4 board has a dyno number of "still in beta" S4 code on 93 octane. Mucho better. I don't think it will be that hard to get that logic into the allroad ECU.
Who did you talk to Jonathon? or?

I inquired about this in March...
soapbox/
Jeremy, basically told me if I didn't like it to go somewhere else.
Jeremy needs to learn how to string customers along better. Then we could keep buying APR ****e and be happy while we wait for ECU software.
I'm really interested in Mipitas' exhaust but I can't see spending any money in APR's direction with the attitude towards their customers.
No question that everyone on this board wants APR to 'win' but when they treat you like they have done you the greatest service and you should be thankful, it makes me want to install someone elses product.
I know that Milpitas has been working with them and for that I am greatful. But really what harm is there for them to tell us what they are up to and keep their customers informed? I can't think of a reason.

What he said!
I was waiting over 8 months for the the 93 octane program which is still not available for the 2001 6 speed.
Thanks to Milpitas I uploaded the 2002 program and it worked...never did test which one was better though...might have to take my laptop and apr programmer to the track one day.
The hotter it gets here in the Northeast the more I begin to think RS4 intercooler might be a better mod than downpipes.
