AR electronics query
I have a year old '02 AR (Tip w/10K miles) -- my second, in fact -- and have never experienced any of the difficulties detailed on the Forum.
Yesterday, though, the radio/CD refused to turn on. This morning, I noticed the whole faceplate surrounding the audio unit had stayed lit all night. The electronic unlocking refused to work (though the alarm disengaged when unlocked with a key).
It's going to the stealer this morning, but I have little faith in their diagnostics.
Any pointers I can offer them?

Of course the first thing to do is to pull & reinsert the fuse for the radio.
If several things seem to be wrong you might bounce the whole system by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes then reconnecting it. You'll have to re-enter the radio code, though.
