Arnott Coilover install - help!
Well - I was (dumb?) enough to try the coilover install myself. Besides one pinch bolt issue, it actually hasnt been all that bad ..... until now.
From anyone who has done this, how in the heck do I get the new fork over the lower control arm? The instructions from Arnott say that "downward pressure" may have to be applied to the assembly to get the fork over the control arm. Well, try pushing down on the hub assembly while holding up the new coilover assembly .... it doesnt work so well. I can really only get the hub to go down maybe an inch or so. I need 2-3 more inches. I really dont want to take off the other ball joint.
Any suggestions?

Well - just read the instructions yet again and it now seems they do want you to remove both lower ball joints. Damn.
Well, not doing this tonight. If anyone has any suggestions that will prevent me from having to do this - much appreciated ...

honestly when i had to put the shock assembly back on. i never even took the ball joints apart underneath. if you manuver the wheel enough and play with the positioning you might be able to get it on. took a bit for me but eventually i got it. course in the long run it might make it easier to pop those joints apart. but for me that was unusually difficult.
