Audi 2.7T engine coolant issues
I have had my oil tested every 5K since new and at 50K I received a indication that there was antifreeze in oil, seems that Blackstone labs ha received several 2.7t engines with this issue.
Anyone else had thier oil checked ? Seems folks on the B5 S4 forum are also talking about this

Never had this happen, did you check the 2.7T Development forum?
If that is the case, where would it come from? A leaking Head Gasket would be the only thing that comes to mind...... but that would also mean that the engine would lose compression, and this could be tested just to be sure......only a thought.

I agree about head gasket except....
I've seen head gaskets fail that only leak when cooling down. Supposed to be a thermal thing such that the as the engine cools, the pressure of the heated coolant passages pushes a bit of antifreeze past the bad head gasket into the oil as it cools. But once up to operating temp seals up and don't see compression loss. Granted, not on the 2.7T engine, but on old 944 Porsches. Though principal ought to be the same.
Either way, a bad head gasket isn't something to leave alone. Will just get worse with time.

In my last Blackstone oil analysis of the AR
Trace amounts of moisture was found in the oil, but no antifreeze. I have a change interval of 10K miles with Mobil 1 10-50w.
I highly recommend getting your oil tested at regular intervals.
