Hi guys, I've got a 2004 Allroad with 170,000 KM on it. Just recently during a cold snap of nearly minus 30, first gear started slipping. When I put it in reverse it works, in drive it slips but when I use manual shift mode first gear slips just a bit and all other gears work normally. I'm hoping this isn't a dead transmission and is something to do with TCM or TCC? or possibly seals that may respond to fluid change and additive? Anyone have similar symptoms?
