Battery drain = large draw
Ok this is what I found (not sure how accurate my DMM is)
3.5a total draw
so I started pulling fuses
#14 = .4a (Dome /interior)
#15 = .1a (Cluster)
#37 = .4a (Radio)
#17 = 2.5a (Nav)
So I think #17 is air suspension on the allroad because I don't have Nav
now what do I do?
3.5a total draw

I got off my lazy butt and went and got the Bentley. It only seems to show the level control system for 2002 model year, but I imagine it is the same for other years. It shows fuse 17 as the fuse that feeds the level control module. It also shows 10 feeding another control module related to the system and 110 feeding what I guess is the compressor.

thanks
when I pulled 10 it didnt seem to do anything
I think it for the levelers (sp) in the headlights, so kinda related to the suspension
not sure what you mean about 110?
so when I pull 17 load drops to .8amps which I think if ok ?
so I put the fuse in and out a few times and could hear a clicking from the rear
until finally it didnt click and the draw stayed at .8amps
closed and opened door and it went back to 3.5 amp draw
I guess I will just pull the fuse when I park till I figure when the compressor realy is and what to do with it

went a bit deeper tonight and got no where
I pulled relay 214 (turns on compressor) only droped 1 amp not the full 2.5
so I went looking for the clicking sound I hear when I push/pull the fuse
and tore apart the left side of the trunk and found no fuse but I did fine a silver box (some sore of computer had 2 harnesses going to it
I am lost

I got the sense that the 110 might be a large fuse in the engine compartment. With my limited experience so far with these cars it sounds like you might have an issue with your compressor running too long. How does your suspension behave? My first thought would be the compressor trying to run, but I would think the current draw would be way higher. Maybe it is a solenoid actuating. I wouldn't think it would go for long however.
If you could find someone who has the DVD version of the Bentley it might have a trouble tree for the suspension system. The book is pretty worthless compared to the versions I have for the older cars (4000 and 5000).
