Default Just ordered from vagparts

I'll let the forum know my experience. It is a bit pricey [almost $400 with shipping], but it's less than my deductible and with my seat position, I really am having a significant blind spot.

For that kind of money they better be the anti-dazzle (self dimming) versions

Default I have them on my TT and love them..in Europe I think they are only on the passenger...

side. I got a euro R and UK L to make a full set for the TT. (there are sources that put the 2 together) I looked at these for the allroad but the self dimming ones were priced way out there. With the self dimming I would pay the dealer to put them on. There is a special tool (a screw driver will work) the unlocks some tabs holding the glass in- not uncommon to break the old mirror when doing it yourself. I'm not thrilled with the allroad side mirrors, although I rented an Impala and the side mirrors were enough to keep me from ever buying one, they really suck. The pic is an A6/allroad mirror showing the split mirror, just too expensive for now unless I was replacing a broken mirror. The split is more to the outside than on the TT mirror, a much smaller part of the mirror.

Ask them if they are willing to ship to the US before you bid.
