Default Blue haze (driver side mirror)

My driver side mirror seems to have a blue haze to it, like it's constantly partially dimmed. It's really noticeable when the sun shines on it. The passenger mirror doesn't have this problem, and I don't remember it on my A4.

My question: is that normal?

Default Did the A4 have the premium package?

It could just be the sensitivity of the auto dim...and the fact that it is much closer to you (driver) than the passenger mirror. If the sun hits it an it dims, it is working properly.

I would only worry if it does not dim at night.

It's really purple. Jimi Hendrix special edition.

Yes - it's normal for the auto-dimming mirrors. My BMW has it, too.
