Brake pads and rotors at 22k
My wife's '05 just needed new pads and front rotors, after 2 1/2 years and 22k miles. No charge, but is this normal? We've had no other problems and we're thinking of keeping it when the lease is up nextyear.

That's a little early.
When you have to pay, get the stoptech stage 2 kit. Costs about the same as OEM but vastly better. Drop in replacement too.

Early for miles, but if she's done 22K in 2.5 years all around town stop-n-go, it's not abnormal

I went through 4 sets of pads and front rotors (& 2 sets of rear) by 50K miles

Tires and brakes last 20-30k for most of us. If you get 40, you are special.
My Suburban has original front pads at 100k, is on it's second set of tires (still really fresh). The a/r has new brakes, and is on it's 3rd set of tires at 55k.

Just replaced mine under warranty at 24K. I'm fine with that.
Plus, I had to track days on them as well.

The real question is how do you drive so little? I do that in a little more than half a year:)
