Default Brembo finally

I have been waiting patiently for almost 2 months now since I placed my order for the Brembo. Tomorrow will be the day that I put them on. I'll post some pics ASAP if anyone is interested.

Default I'm very interested. Thanks!

How much did they cost you?

Default Did you get fronts only or the rear as well? I've been looking for Brembos and was told that

322mm kit is no longer available. I'm assuming you got the 355mm kit, right? Anyways, keep us posted. We're very interested.

Shoulda gone Stoptech. Better brakes, less money.

Default In a C&D aftermarket brake comparison, they indeed confirmed the superiority of Stoptech ->

as compared to slightly more expensive Brembos, and a couple of other brands.

Possibly the only drawback to Stoptech calipers is the need to unscrew an extra piece when changing brake pads. But, I suppose that's a small price to pay for a less expensive, better performing caliper!

Default Same here...

and since I run my stock 17" rims during the winter, I went with Stoptek. I should have them on by the end of the month.

Default 322mm they are...

because 355mm won't fit into the std 17" wheel (non-twin spoke). I am getting the front, steel liner all round and changing the rear pads to Brembo (not the caliper) and was told that this kit was developed especially for the AR and was only available a few months earlier. Regardless or whether the info are true or not, I am sure they will be a huge improvement over the stock brakes. Fingers-crossed ..... :-)

Default Where are you getting the kit from?

Would you mind if I asked the price?

Not at all. I think it works out to be around $3,000 just for the brakes as I am getting a few more things done at the same time. I am not living in US BTW.

Brembos are FAR superior to Stoptechs and they actually function in the rain.
