Default Bumper Cover

Ouch! . . . Didn't pull far enough into the garage. The closing door scratched the rear bumber on my (up until now) flawless 2002 AR. Anyone know of any discount body part outlets that might save me a dollar or two over the dealer? . . . Thanks

I'm sure you're correct about the dealer (plural), having stock. AR's are very, very rare, here in Phoenix (land of trucks and SUV's). I can count on one hand the number of AR's I've seen in my travels around town, and 4 of them had out of state plates! However, I like the exclusivity.

Default When I tore mine last year it took six weeks to come from Germany

Then when I opened the box there was a dent in the face where they had put it together and welded the plastic too tight. I ordered another one 3 months later it still had not shown up. So I had the body shop do what they could. 2 days after it was done the second cover came.Pissed me off big time. The dent was less noticeable when they were done but it's still there.

Default Re: There are people that will repair...

them; you'll have to search in your area, as any body shop that doesn't offer this specialty will tell you it can't be repaired.

Car dealers get damaged bumper covers repaired all the time, they may be a good place to start your search...

PS: Unless you just want a new bumper cover?
