Default Bye bye allroad....hello S6!

Traded the '01 allroad with 46k for a '02 CPO'd S6 with 18k last night. Love the power of the S6 and the handling is also great. No lag when you hit the gas in that car! The in-service date was June '02 so we're covered until June '08.

Really never needed the additional off-road capabilities of the allroad and we don't get much snow here. The potential for significant repair bills (turbos & air suspension) made me nervous.

We've enjoyed the allroad for more than 4 years, it's been a great car. But the S6 is a definite upgrade, albeit a pretty expensive one.

Default wanna drag?

S6 is sweet. So's my allroad 4.2 w/apr flash. Best thing about your car: seats and tip on steering wheel. (Didnt they make a few with paddle shifters?) Best thing about mine: everything else. Enjoy it! post some pics!!!

Default What HP did you get wth the apr flash?

I only drove if for a little while but I think the seats will be better than the AR. A buddy who had one said they're the best seats he ever had in any car. You don't have the thumb shifters on the wheel? My AR had them.

Default Saw that car there when I was looking for my allroad...

it was there for a while. Talked to a couple people that have looked at it. Out of curiousity, what'd you pay for it? Back in November they dropped their original price down to $42k from $45k.
