Is castrol syntech 5w40 still made in Germany?
0w30 and 5w40 is the recommended type so I went to Canadian Tire where I had seen it before but this time only the 0w30 is made in Germany. All various types were made in U.S. including the 5w40 which I was going to get.
I ended up getting the 0w30 but is the U.S. made 5w40 still not recommended? It says it's formulated for BMW/Merc/VW.
BTW what's the 2.7T's oil capacity? The car is in the shop (with the manual) to have my dent pulled out.
