Default Changed Spark Plugs, mis-firing

I have an allroad 2.7T MT. W/ APR chip. Haven't had any engine problems until I recently replaced the plugs (55K). I set the gap to where the prior factory plugs were set. About .035. The car ran perfectly at first, then started to mis-fire in one cylinder. Anyone have any issues here? Wondering if I could have a bad coil or if it is most likely something else. I checked all the connections.
Thanks

Default chances are...

if it ran fine prior to the replacement and imeediately after the job, then:

1. I plug loosened up
2. A coilpack went..coincidence.

A quick VAG-Com scan will tell you which CP it is.

Default make sure your plugs are on tightly and i thought the plugs come pre-gapped these days they come wit

h warnings not to pre-gap...?

i had the same experience thought i would try to save a few bucks and bought the bosch p4's and after installing took it out for a drive and car started to stumble under heavy acceleration and the car would die everytime i closed the hood....so didn't want to take any chances and bought the oem plugs $10 each vs. the $5 p4's...no more misfires/stumbling under heavy acceleration.

Default The correct gap is.027,it is possible that a coil went. I have seen a coil die right after new

plugs, or a PCM flash

Default You're not supposed to use a gapping tool on Platinum plugs!

The plugs come gapped from the factory. That's part of the reason they cost so much.

Default Did you pull the plug?

Possible you dropped it in the hole and bent the electrode?
