Default Coldest I've seen yet...

-35 degrees Fahrenheit

This was on the road between Eklutna and Palmer, Jan 18th.

Sorry for the shaky pic, but it was cold!

Does anyone know how low the temperature will read on an Audi? Different for the ar?

Default One negative effect

When it gets cold (15°F and lower) - the brakes squeal badly.

Of course, the dealer says:

"well those are fancy-shmancy 4-caliper brakes with high metallic compound pads - there's nothing we can do, they check out fine"

Then again, I am the ONLY person at the stoplight who squeals to a stop...everyone looking around and saying:

"damn fancy-shmancy German cars - my Chevy doesn't squeal"

-29 in Montana three weeks back and no squeak.. Must be bear fur in the caliper

Default *grumbles* its freakin cold here compared to Florida, 32 degrees is the warmest I've seen in weeks.

Most days are negative temps or single digits.

Default Good to see that water and oil temp are quite OK

At least the engine (and yourself) stay warm.
