Hey guys,

I just wanted to let it be known that, when fitting floormats from different model years (which have different styles of plastic retainers), the clips on the mats are easily be swapped over to the desired style.

For example, I bought some new style slush mats that wouldn't properly snap onto my '01 floorboards, but a little work with a wide flathead screwdriver allowed me to swap out the female clips on the mats in a matter of minutes.

The two tips I'd proffer is to:
· try to limit the prying to the top half of the clip, as it's thicker.
· Try to spin the two halves of each clip relative to each other, just to get some movement in them, before prying.

Anyway, I was pretty happy that this was possible. If someone's shopping for different year C5 A6 (as mine were) or allroad mats, don't let year scare you off.
