The OP has a steel sleeve stuck to the actual ball joint stud. When I did some work on my car, same thing happened.
I am replacing both the hubs with 4z7407357f and 258f. This will allow me to use the 04 arms which are very common.

Search parts geek for the correct part and #. OE is the TRW listed there. It gives you the chassis number after which the later model part applies. As noted above some green loctite to the sleeve is a good idea if the sleeve came out when you removed the old arm. There may be a cheaper OE part available but if it doesn't include the chassis cut off info or a picture you are likely going to get the short fat one. Stay away from any that lists 01-05 as that is clearly incorrect.

The lower control arms you have on your car wont fit 257f and 258f. You will need different lower arms.
If you get 257f and 258f you can use the common arms that are found on 04's.
