I noticed that the fan that sits behind the grille in front of the radiator runs for 5-6 mins each time I shut down my 2003 AR 2.7 AT w/Tip..is that the norm......?

And this may be related to a post earlier today but between 2700-3000 rpm generally around 45-60 mph there is a drone or constant hum that occurs only at speed...the noise disappears upon decelaration below 45 mph...is it possible a fan bearing, axle bearing or a turbo bearing on the right side of the car in front......be the cause....this AR has only 40k on it....just bought it from a dealer less than a week ago...

sensor, although I don't know if that would make the fan run too.?

I never thought of it as a problem cuz some of my other cars do that as well.

I think there was only one occasion in the hottest of summer days that I heard the fan run after shutdown.
