Creaks and pops from front suspension

Creaks and pops from front suspension
I have a 2001 with ~65K miles and lately the front suspension has been emitting creaks and pops, especially noticeable while parked and either sawing the steering wheel back and forth or changing the suspension level. I have searched the archives and the consensus seems to be take it back to the dealer and have the suspension lubed. But I have gone under the car and looked and can find no signs of zerk fittings for attaching a lube gun. It appears that our suspensions are "lifetime" lubricated. Ha, ha.
So my question to those on the forum, if I do take it to the dealer to have it lubed as recommended, is this going to require disassembly? That would suck. If not, what exactly will the dealer be doing given that I can't find any grease fittings?

If you have an extended warranty.. no problem.. bring it in and take care of it.
If not... find a good..reputable INDEPENDANT Audi repair shop.. (ask on the Audi World State-area Forum nearest you.) Let the indi shop tell you what is wrong. The allroad..A6...have a history of front control arems just wearing out.

If it happens both with turning the steering wheel and suspension travel
you almost certainly need tie rod ends. I changed mine in July -- not hard. Get new ones from ECS tuning.
