Default Call them and see what they have to say - (long)

I had some work done at Barrier. A few days after while I was washing it, I notice what looked like they had damaged the rockers, both sides about 8" back from the front wheelwells. I called my service writer and he said to bring it in. He had the shop forman come up and look at it. He said that it could not have been them I told them that this was the only place it has been. He then asked if I would come down into the shop so he can show me there was no way the lifts they have could do that. I declined, believing he had no reason to lie at that point. The service writer then said he would do what ever I wanted to get it fixed, either try to repair or order new trim. Again I declined, I was not 100% sure it was them and his offer to fix the problem, I felt was good enough, especially since they pretty much proved it was not them.

The damage was to the plastic pieces that cover the rocker areas.

Oddly I have not had anything done to them and the depressions have disappeared.

I will go back to them for work. They gave me the impression of being honest and concerned.

I took it in and they said yes they will repaint the wheel with not even a moment of hesitation.

Default IMHO, repaint is never the same, I might accept a future favor instead.

My twin spokes were repainted when I bought mine. The paint did not hold up at all.
