my wear warning came on yesterday and plan on replacing the pads myself. I have the zimmerman drilled and slotted rotors on it now. Any help on procedure?

Did mine a couple of weeks ago.
Nothing special about the ar brakes - if you've done other disc brakes then it should be easy.
If you're doing the rears, borrow a caliper reset tool in advance. The pistons in the rear calipers have to be screwed into the cylinder under a lot of force, and I wasn't able to do it without the special tool (I tried a home-made tool I used on my VW, but it didn't work).
Have some appropriate lube on hand for the caliper slides, and some of mine didn't want to move the full range of motion needed to put in the new pads. When taking the calipers off, expect the torque on the mounting bolts to be quite high.
I always need a disc grinder to get the rear caliper off the disc. Don't know any other way to get the pads to slide over the lip that forms on the edge of the rotor.
Have fun.
