Default Does this look healthy? Non modded 60K mile Boost logs. Milpitas?

I am attempting to baseline my car before modding. I have almost 60K miles on it at this point and even have original BPVs in place.

With that said, does this requested vs. actual boost graph look right?

Default Yep quite healthy, no issues there.. Charting lesson. RPMS on bottom

Boost on left and if need be a second axis on the right (timing etc). time means nothing unless your looking for a baseline 60-100 time

Default Is this better? I put the timing on from the same pull, but the timestamp didn't match on

the second measuring block. I guess that's why the timing line looks like it has been shifted left.

Either way, I guess the jist is that my car is making expected boost after all these miles. That is a good thing. What is max boost in a stock allroad supposed to be?

Default It is reading 1600 mbar which is equal to 1.6bar...

this is the way it comes out of the VAG-COM. Ambient atmospheric pressure at sea level (I'm pretty much as sea level in Annapolis) is 1.0 bar.

So, I guess my car is making .6 bar or about 8.7psi of actual boost pressure.

Does this sound right?

Default I just dug around a bit in the S4 forum and see that a stock 2.7T should make

perhaps a little more than my car does. Some people said it should do up to .68 bar or almost 10psi but I did not see any real plots with those figures.

Most stock 2.7T plots that I found were doing around .60 to .62 bar of actual boost. This is in the 9psi range.

Correct you will see is .6 generally. I don't like how slot the boost builds but it holds steady

Default I have some 710Ns. Upon installation hopefully they will snap shut better

and my boost will build quicker. This is one of the reasons why I want to baseline my car. I want to see evidence of mods improving performance.

I prefer the 710n's over the bailey valves, etc. I run the 710ns and have baileys on my shelf
