Door Pocket
Anyone have a front door pocket that won't stay shut? Its the smaller one closer to the front of the car on the drivers side. Not sure if this is going to be an easy thing to chase and fix (other than duct tape). Just checking for advice before I start dismantling my door panel. Thanks.

i fixed my passenger side 1, it can be fixed, depends on your i.q. : )
mine i.q. is not that high, so i took both panels off, and made 1 that didn't work, look like 1 that did, and then the broken 1 worked again. : )

Re: Door Pocket
I have the same issue with the driver's side. Seems only to happen on hot days or when car is left in the sun. Normally rectifies itself as the panel cools, but I don't know the actual cause

Here's a cheat:
If you pull the pocket outward with solid pressure for a few moments and then close it it might stay shut. Definitely not "fixed" but at least you can try this to get it closed so it isn't annoying the crap out of you.

Thanks - I'll give that a try. It's been broken for over a year.
But I managed to get it closed, then never touched it. Now its just open and I kick it every time I get in the car.

Re: Door Pocket
When the ar was in for the 90K service last month, I had the dealer quote me on fixing the door pocket: $240!
Being that it's the passenger door, I passed on that...
