need help.
my audi allroad 2001 has some problems reported on the scanner .
the scanner report misfire in cylinder 1-2-3 and some times exhaust temperature sensor fault, i did put the car on scanner more then one time some times there nothing and some times misfire in cylinders 1-2-3 and some other all are required.
the said to me that the exhaust temperature sensor is damage and need to replaced, but some times doesn't appear on the scanner.
so can someone help me to diagnose the issue?

I had the same issue. replace you EGT probe. When the probe goes bad the ECU dumps fuel on that bank. There is a guy in poland who sells replacement boards for the egt sensors. Its a bit of work to replace just the board but there a huge savings. Search EGT board replacement.

But some times the car doesn't do anything like new car.
Sometimes there is no faults on the scanner.
But i have fuel smell from the exhaust.
And the exhaust sensor is so expensive, for that reason i ask if it's the problem maybe it's not.
