Default Everyone, im fabricating a Single Turbo Conversion for my car!!!!!!

Im taking picks as I go along to share with you.
Can someone tell me the diameter at the turbo flange, im still working on removing the turbos and want to start purchasing the piping.Going to mount the turbo at air filter box location. Planning to use a T3/T04 turbo.

There is a guy on Motorgeek doing the same thing with a 2.7 in an old CQ

Default friend of mine did this to his Dodge Stealth race car.

His reasoning was much based on serviceability, though - the transverse engine + dual turbo was nightmarish to work on.

Now he has a GT42 on 3.0 liters and 590whp/600wtq.

Default why not twin T3/T04 ;)

Really though what do you expect the power output to be? I cant see it being too much more than a StageII 2.7TT? 350hp? Cost and time to output doesnt seem like an equal payoff. Interested to hear why you want to do this conversion.

Default A buddy of mine did a Twin T28 conversion. I guess they are more reliable than K04...

It was a Bad ****. 480whp. He did it to an S4. Spent 30K on a 20K car.

Because its cheaper, and I like to see my turbo.
Basically or reliability stand point.
