I just bought a new 6spd AR ... I was wondering on timing/pricing for extended warrenty, sooner or later? I will most likely have this car past 50k : )

I would think that the warranty companies count on the first two...three...four years of an Audi's contract to be covered by the factory warranty. So they get to use/invest that 'premium' for those covered years. If they have the money for a shorter period.. ie closer to your factaory warranty running out.. then I think the cost would be higher.

Go on to the web sites for some of the extendeds.. My preference is www.autowarranybroker.com

Fill get some quotes:

1. Current age of your ar and its mileage
2. On year older and an additional year's mileage

compare the costs...
