...the alloy lower door trim? I was quoted $600 from the dealer but was told in the past Clair Parts might be able to offer a better deal. Any of you Allroad owners have a better place? TIA

funny - I'm looking to replace mine for A6 trim.
I'd like to have something more stealth. I'd like to try an A6 Brill Black or something that matches the fendertrim.
BTW, are those peieces hard to remove?

You would need ones for an S6 or A6 4.2 as they are larger like the Allroad
The ones on the A6 2.8 3.0 and 2.7T are smaller, (see my sig). The install is easy, here is a link how. Let me know if you want to part with yours. Thanks.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/200051.phtml</a

Not so unless you mean to look kinda stock....

I have 4.2 stock gray moldings unpainted they are a perfect match but the guy who got my moldings is putting them on a 2.7T A6 which had the little moldings. If he can do that you could if you wanted put the little moldings on an allroad the doors are the same.

Thanks Alex! Questions on your setup...
From the picture it looks like the 4.2 trim matches the fenderwells. How does it look in real life?
Also, where were you able to get the 4.2 pieces? I was thinking of calling Clair next week to get a price.
Thanks in advance for any info!

Thanks for the link carbonLORD - very helpful
I was thinking the conversion was going to be much harder - like using glue or 2 sided tape.
I might have to take out one door just to check. Jeez, car isn't even a day old and I want to tinker!
I may keep the trim pieces just to have if I ever wanted to go back stock. Although if they cost a lot to replace I may be sending you an email
