Flat spot on intial accleration

Experience slight flat spot on acceleration from standstill any advise please welcome.Thanks 2001 model 2.5 tdi

Auto trans - brake throttle lag. search BTL. volumes about it, the cure is

a 6 speed manny tranny! I didn't know the TDI has it too.
