Forget the Michelin Pilot AS... too much $$. Any other suggestions?

nope... they're AS...
Which is to say that they're compromised performance tires and compromised winter tires and compromised rain tires...
But I bought 'em and love 'em as all around tires.....
Cause tha allroad is a compromised performance car, a compromised off-roader, a compromised town car and a compromised grand tourer.
But I bought it and love it, too...

Is Goodyear still handling their design work in the US?
I know they broke off their financial relationship with Firestone some years back and Sumitomo took full control, but I thought I heard they entered a partnership with Goodyear for development of their US tires.
