<Friday Poll> In the spirit of Halloween, what's the best costume you ever came up with?
I thought this poll may give some folks who are still on the fence on what to be in case of any last minute parties to still be had.......and for a little fun to read some responses.
As for me.......one year in college I found myself walking around as an empty toilet paper roll. (didn't say it had to be a good idea for a costume)

Open heart surgery, with a real beating animal heart
I will spare you all of the details, but it involved two bladders of air connected by a tube (with one in my pocket), a cow heart (!!!!!), racks of ribs covering the works, and a tankload of fake blood. Epic.
I got super blowed up at parties that night, and ended up leaving the whole works on someone's hood. Classy!
Best,
Bob

Won first place as a Flasher. Consisted of...
a light tan body suit, jean legs from the knees down, work boots, an overcoat, an 1930's gangster style hat (Stetson I believe, my grandpa's)
AND
a long red balloon and two round blue ones.
Even took a girl home from the party (my wife).

I was never good for me...not my thing, but for my daughters the best would have to
be pink flamingo...complete with pink sweats, feather boa and paper mache beak and the all time winner no one ever saw...when my oldest was about 3 she went as Minnie Mouse...I painted her face perfectly...only problem was that she hated "things dressed up" and screamed the minute she looked in the mirror (we lived in a lovely old house with a floor length mirror by the entryway door) and I had to take it all off before I even got a photo...warning for new parents that some find it too scary to do these events.
