2003 Allroad

I can hear the compressor trying and the back is pumped all the way up but the front won't raise an inch. I can hear the compressor but it doesn't seem to do anything. The light on the suspension button flashes any choice 1-3 but eventually gives up and will stay on level 1 with the front completely dropped down and won't flash or make any attempts the second time. The car doesn't have much value even with the suspension working I would be surprised if I could get $1500 for it. Should I cut my losses and sell it for junk or is there something I can try?

check for leaks first, might find it to be an easy fix

IF you keep letting that compressor run it will burn itself out.if the car hasn’t been maintained or if it’s rusty at all just part it out. If you do a little research you may find some Allroad freaks near you that will buy it. It is worth more in parts than scrap weight, that’s for sure.

There's a member on this site - bagpipingandy who sells a new ring kit for the compressor real cheap. Comes with instructions, and its a real easy DIY.
I purchased through ebay. He has a on line video as well so you can check it out.
If you let the compressor continue it will either rattle itself to death.
