Default Gents..looking at a used 2001 Audi All-Road...any buying guide/things to look out for?

I heard that the early models had suspension problems. Also know that the early 2.7TT engine at least in the S4 had oil feed issues to the turbo.

Any tips appreciated.

Thanks

cody

Default There are minimal suspension probs in the allroad and...

the oil feed lines in all allroads are the updated version. Turbos can/will still fail but that is just luck of the draw as there is a manufacturing defect that either rears its ugly head or just keep making boost way past warranty.

Default Oh, and the car is an "allroad". Not Allroad. Not all-road. Not All Road. Not AllRoad.

just a nit pick, but if you are going to join the club you have to at least know what model you are driving.

Default Your S4 isn't doing it anymore

Hey Cody, It's Brian Link. I just bought a 2001 allroad. I did a bunch of research, there isn't any suspension issues in 2001, but it was changed in 2002. There are a few good deals around. Mine goes into Stammler on wed with my punch list of items to be repaired. I hope it gets out for the GTG wed night, but I will have to wait until the next one. very slow compared to my 200q20v or your S4.

How about "Audi Escalade"? or Audi "Mall Rated"

Default My "old" 2001 was trouble free. No suspension problems

Aside from a bad intercooler at 20K, and the "normal" brake rotors, the car was never in the shop.
