I have a few random rattles. BTW, I have the recall notice, but no symptoms of failed O2 sensor. Should I tell them I "have" seen the CEL and that the mileage is down? I want it replaced, but I have heard that Audi will not replace unless there is a failure.

If you have a good dealer just tell them you'd like it replaced.

If yo don't tell them they can't help you.
It may not be the sensor.. but give them the info.
