Going over speed bumps (slowly) my front passanger area makes a loud creeking noise.
It almost sounds like a really old wooden rocking chair.
I had this happen in my Honda and believe it was a ball joint.
Any ideas?

Probably tie rod end, possibly control arm.
If it also creaks when you turn the steering wheel, it's a tie rod end. If only on bumps, it could be either a tie rod end or control arm. Get someone to raise or lower the suspension and turn the steering wheel while you put your hand on the tie rod end.
Tie rod ends are not a big DIY job if you're so inclined.

You can shoot a little lithium grease or even WD-40 in there for now but you'll have to replace it
I got about 18mos out of my A6 anant like this. I actually ordered the part and forgot all about it until the shimmy started.
