Has anyone tried that foam trunk liner on clairparts, or is weathtertec the way to go?

I like the Weathertech. I heard that it was more durable.

Default I got one direct from Audi

It was about $50 - foam. The foam is very similar to the type used in running shoe insoles. It is light but it seems pretty tough. My dog hasn't wrecked it yet.

Weathertec is a thicker, tougher liner. Depends on your needs. You won't need to replace it.

That is more then i can say. I had the same liner and my dog (a 5 month old rhodesian ridgeback) liked it a lot. It took him about 10 minutes to rip it to pieces and i'm back to my old blanket to protect the trunk....
At least he had some fun with it....

Default Foam liner tears

If you have a dog with claws or put anything with sharp corners in the trunk the mat will rip. I ended up purchasing the weathertec and have been much more satisified.

Default I'll try to get a pic later today

I think it may be at the AOA site as well.

As for the durability, I do have to say that my dog is a 13 year old Lab - not much for distruction anymore..... For me the liner keeps the mud, dog hair, and grass from my (now idle) golf clubs off the tan carpet.

That was one thing I did like about my Saab - the hatch carpet was black even though the interior was tan. But I don't think that would look quite right in the allroad........
