Default Headlner sagging?

Was told from the guy I bought my ar from that "98% of all allroads have a problem with sagging headliners".

I know three others that have ar's that don't have this problem.

Curious to hear from others.

Thanks

Mine is an 02. Headliner still looks brand new. I do believe you can buy a new one from ECS Tuning for about $100. Expect huge shipping costs because of its size.

My 2004 has a perfect headliner. Had it since 2009.

I looked at many before I bought mine, never saw a bad headliner.

The guy you bought it from was trying to sell you a car.

Enjoy the ar!

The headliner in my 2002 is in great shape except for the the hatch area that has little black dog hairs from my pooches. No sagging anywhere.

98% of allroads have suspension issues at one time or another. Very few have headliner issues. Neither of mine have headliner issues.

My 2003's headliner is in great condition minus the stain from the leaking washer hose at the hatch. My 2005's headliner is stained in the back too, and hanging down all over... I think it's hit-and-miss, but not an overwhelming problem.

Default Headliner Fix

I find it rare to see a C5 headliner sag, but I have a 2000 in for service now that is sagging. Usually indie Auto Top shops can replace headliners at a faction of the dealer cost. I would say it would run $450 to $600 to replace the headliner.
