Default HELP! Installing hp-2 brakes, missing the ribbed washer for the bolt to the hub plate.

The old calipers don't use a ribbed washer.

Is this a MUST?

I'm in the middle of the job now - if the washers are a must, I can get my regular indy to put them in tomorrow when I get the car inspected.

Default

I don't recall any washers.

Default I went back and searched the archives; couldn't find any mention of them there either.

The passenger side caliper has been swapped. I'm about half-way through the other side. Once that's done, I'll bleed the front.

Default Update: Brakes are installed. I'll have my shop check a few things when I'm there tomorrow...

. torque on the caliper bolts
. passenger side abs sensor connector didn't want to seat in the bracket
. I couldn't find the last turkey baster I defiled, and didn't want to tell my wife to buy yet another new one, so the shop can adjust the fluid level in the plastic tank with their baster
. bleed the brake system again - seems a little mushy, and doing the vag-com cycle is a lot easier with two people, which I didn't have today.
