I talked with Bill, the Audi service manger at Don Rosen Audi concerning the off line hesitation fix done on AYP's car. He said you have to use the 1551 VAG scan tool to erase all fault codes and restore all basic settings. He said it was no big secret and general knowledge for all dealers. Apparently some fault codes can get into the system as it is first initialized. As I am 90 miles from my dealer and don't have the VAG software, I won't be able to check this out anytime soon. Maybe some others can have it done and report back.
