Default A highspeed stablity question

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/28341/audi.jpg"></center><p>Hi Guys,

I recieved my new allroad two weeks ago and I love it! One thing is a bit disappointing though. After a week of braking in, I have now done some decent highspeed driving. What I noticed was that the allroad is not very stable directionally at topspeed. This results in constant corrections. This might not seem relevant but I live in Germany and the fastest route to my family contains 230 miles of no-speed-limit highway. Driving with 85 miles per hour just aint no fun. Any ideas how to improve directional stability?

Regards,

Jeroen

Default Have you checked the tire pressure? My "friend" has had "his" allroad up to 120+mph also and it...

was rock stable...that poor modded A4 didn't know what happened

Of course I would never do that with "my" allroad

Guys, I haven't had the 605 relay in a while...Could the relay be the cause of the stability issue?

Default I haven't had any stability issues, but I seldom exceed 100 mph while driving on the "beach." ;-}

Or do you also have the problem while driving on the highway? Tire pressure is critical at higher speeds. Pump them up.

Default Have seen 130 mph on the speedo,

and didn't note any problem with stability.

I have also done 100 mph for up to an hour, again with no problems.

Default Re: A highspeed stablity question

Have the 2,5 Tdi myself. No problems with 100 mph+ over long distances. When I occasionally take it all the way have not noticed any problems
