Highway 287 incident follow up......
The ar was towed to Audi on Saturday, on my way to the Audi-AWE meeting in New Brunswick....only 2 hours of waiting for AAA, right on Rt1, 2 minutes away from my place..what a great weekend...
The folks from Audi did first troubleshooting today and nailed it almost down.
It appears that the ECU may have taken a hit, TCU seems fine. So that tells me that some serious off-roading could challenge the ar to the extend of severe damage.
Tomorrow they'll check the remainder of connections just to be sure. I just hope that the GIAC chip didn't jump out of its socket and caused it. But we'll see and I'll let you guys know the final result + $$$.$$.
Enjoy you ar ride everyone...now I really feel like Paulroad when his LULU was gone.....:-(

You've got to be kidding ....still GONE? That is insane...Sorry to hear that Paul...
The Dealer/Mechanic knows my car very well, so they know about the mods....and appreciate the attitude how this car has always been taken care of.
I don't think they want to lose a loyal customer because of a "minor" issue ;-)
