New member here. I purchased a 2013 Allroad and specifically asked the dealer about selling and installing a trailer hitch to pull my small boat (under 2000 lbs). He said no problem, by the time your Allroad arrives we should have that all sorted out. That was ONE YEAR AGO !!! To date I cannot get a straight answer out of anybody at my Audi dealership regarding this issue.
I decided to go aftermarket and I have installed a Curt trailer hitch which looks fine and seems to be very sturdy. However, I STILL have no wiring as I cannot find an aftermarket wiring harness that is meant for the 2013 Allroad. My Audi dealer tells me if I install an aftermarket wiring harness and it screws up the car's electrical system my warranty is void. If I knew all this I would NEVER have bought the Audi as this has turned into a real pain. Has anyone out there installed a hitch on a 2013 Allroad with wiring and had it work?
