older lady came out to the car as I was getting my daughter out of mine. I commented on her allroad and the hitch. She said, oh the hitch was on it when we bought it but we never use it. I asked if I could buy it or pay to have it removed from hers. She said she'd ask her husband but doubted it since they were getting ready to trade on a Subaru wagon. So I gave her my number and asked that they let me know what dealer they traded to. Hopefully I can convince the Subie dealer to let me take off the hitch.

What irony though- we all want one and can't get one, and they have one and never used it.
