Default How do I know if the air suspension is going bad?

I'm new to allroads, I just picked mine up a couple of weeks ago. My AR is a CPO.

I've noticed every now and then, when I park the car and come back to it the next morning, the car has settled all the way done. It doesn't do this often/everytime. I usally leave the car in the 2nd suspension position.

I've also been noticing that the air compresser is switching on just about every minute or so. At least that's what I think I'm hearing. I know that the tank is in the back.

It's bad (IMHO) and time for the dealer to fix it. Aren't you glad it's a CPO?

That's what I'm thinking... and yes very glad that it's CPO.

Default Did you try parking in level 1?

If you have a leak in one of the airbags, maybe settling the back so the leak is inside a fold will help. But if the entire car is dropping and not just a corner, you have a bad compressor, bad holding tank or a leak in that area.

From what I can tell, only the front end is settling, the back appears to be fine. I might just drop it off at the dealer and let them figure it out. I'll instruct them to, when in doubt, replace it.

Default Best solution. Make sure it sits at least overnight at dealership...

In my case, it was the rt front strut that was leaking. They kept trying to find a leaking air line, so they'd replace a part, put the car outside overnight, find it with the r/f on the ground in the morning and look at more partts before they finally replace the entire strut.
