How much is a 2001 Stage 3 allroad worth approx?

Is it rare to have a stage 3/k04 allroad? Or are they common like B5 S4s?

I'm just trying to get an idea of what allroads are worth as I'm looking to build one.

about the same a s a stock allroad.

no value for mods.

My esteemed colleague Paul and I may have differing opinions on this.

I'd say that whereas the allroad market is sliding under the 10k mark - a nice Stage 3 (especially a manual) would probably be in the 14-18k range, especially with other upgrades.

I'm not glued to the classifieds, but there is certainly value to even K04's alone, let alone fuelling.

I actually agree there should be a value...

it would become one of finding the right market/person who is willing to pay for the mods.

As most of us have learned, we are modding for love..not money.

Its rare that we can find such an individual.. my son did once (332monster), but not the second time (a4beast).

a4s are a dime a dozen, r32, and manual stage 3 allroad are a rarity.

I have to give you the real estate version of this and that it is worth what someone is willing to

pay you for it right now...if you find the right someone then you are going to see some return on those mods...otherwise if you are selling it in the wrong place at the wrong time you are just selling "another wagon"...where I am located folks don't know an allroad from a Taurus for the most part so stock or not it doesn't matter. Some have mentioned to part out the mods might make more economical sense if you can't find an enthusiast who wants the whole beast...I have said over and over that my car stock is worth more in parts than I could get for it as a car:)

any stats on stage 3 dyno and a possible 0-60?

skidmark 03-12-2009 01:53 PM

allroad is going to dyno in the same range as a b5s4 with the same mods. It's going to be slower

because of the 500 to 600 pounds of extra weight, probably 5 to 6 tenths slower in the 1/4.

04 allroad 03-12-2009 01:56 PM

Car modifications generally reduce the value.

Unless you sell it to another motorhead.

skidmark 03-12-2009 01:57 PM

I really don't think it helped your son that the a4 was a frankenstein, or way overdone.

stage 3 allroad is just as street worthy as a stock allroad, boost probably comes on 1000 rpms slower then stock, but I bet your sons a4 was lucky to make much boost below 4000 rpms, or wasn't a very friendly daily street car.
