Default i finally tested mine in snow

i spent a few days in tahoe this week (which is having the most snow at this time of year since 1951) and i got to drive my ar in the snow. before i went up i had my pirelli winter assimetrico tires mounted and i report that the car did all i was hoping for. i took it up and down deep snow covered streets, driveways and througn the chain requirements during a decent storm on interstate 80.
no slippage, or sliding, the handling was fantastic. never felt any lack of grip or control.
i am sooooo jazzed.
by the way the skiing is hella kewl right now.
wooooooohoooooooo.

Where in the midwest are you? I just got off the phone with Jackson Hole reservations and they said they've got 5 feet on the ground.

I too, am sitting in mid 60's in Fu*#ing December here in NY. Going to Lake Placid next week for a few days and I'm not even going to bother bringing the skis along.

Default Do you have 17 inch Pirelli snows? That's the size I have but . . .

I'm just using them as giant paper weights 'cause it's in the mid-70s here in Maryland.

Default Same here in Boston..70 and sunny. UGH! I WANT SNOW!

Most ski resorts in ME, NH & VT that opened in November have had to close. Just went and got a Christmas tree wearing shorts. I had to move my Pirelli snow tires to get at the lawn mower last weekend. Its all wrong!

Me too. There are 30 resorts in Pennsylvania, and not one of them is open for skiing.
Getting snow tires put on today (trying to keep thinking positive) .
