I had a truly "allroad" experience this weekend...
Now I LOVE my allroad. Went through a couple of mountain states (PA, MD, WV, VA into the heart of Shenendoah mountain territory- carried all of my gear, including four cases of beer for the weekend, then ended the drive back a poorly maintained 3 mile road to a river house. Gotta say, the allroad was never caught out, and was enjoyable and comfortable for the whole ride. Those back roads were a hoot in level one, good music and perfect climate control, with unbelievable vision thanks to the xenons. Only problem?
The fat ticket I got on the way home on Rt 68 in MD. Should know better- laser, looked up and the trooper was running from the shoulder into my lane to point me to the curb. 84 in a 65. Felt like, say 60 in the allroad. He wouldn't show me the laser, though- anyone know if you can fight a ticket because they won't show you your speed on the display? He claimed the other officer with him had already clocked another vehicle, and denied me the right.... shucks. Still loved the drive.

Great story....glad your beverages got mentioned:) Too bad ....
about the ending though. The real question is what did they write down for the make and model of the vehicle...mine was written as Audi T (half of a TT right?)...I suggest going and fighting it...my husband almost lost his license last year under almost the same circumstances...he hadn't had a moving violation in almost 30 years and he still ended up with the "good" result after fighting it on an appeal of a year's probation and "driver improvement school"...fight it from the beginning, try to get your attorney to get them to lower the speed at least...these are just my humble recomendations but I hope they help as we thought reason would prevail and it didn't (i.e a person should get one "oh s$$t" after all those years of "atta boys" you would think
Good luck but you are correct in that the allroad is almost too much fun sometimes.

"A dog party! A big dog party!"
Loved that book. ("Go Dog, Go!") Still quoting it often to my now-8 and 13-year olds.
Sounds like a fun time. Sorry to hear about the ticket.

I believe it read "Audi 2.7" though I will have to look at it when I get home...not sure if MD points transfer to PA. This seems to be a grey area, if memory from past tickets serves.

Re: "A dog party! A big dog party!"
Nice catch! Some people might get the dog picture, but not many can quote the book. My quote references the fact that I like driving, especially to a big party.... even a big dog party. Now, "Do you like my hat?..."
