Default I just saved $880/yr. on my auto insurance

I just saved a bundle by changing Insurance carriers. I had 2 cars insured with State Farm- BMW 325 and my AR (both 2003 models) and was able to reduce my annual insurance cost by $880 or 35%. Now I'm only paying $1,600/yr for both! In addition, my comprehensive deductible is now only $100 instead of $500. I knew State Farm was charging me a premium but I had no idea how much! Default You suspension is drooping, you turbos are blown, and your tires are shot....

but I do have good news.

"You're going to give me a whole new allroad."

No, I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

Yikes! They're nearly $1200 above my current rates...

Default Interesting. I guess now I know I was paying wayy

too much to State Farm. Just my AR was $1,200/yr and now I'm able to insure both cars for $1,600. I guess I should have been paying closer attention. I just wonder how there can be such a large range between carriers.

Default My wife used State Farm...

...for nearly two years after we were married. My insurance company (Erie Insurance Group) wouldn't take her because she had an at-fault single-vehicle accident on her record (and they excluded her from my policy until that lapsed). But once the accident dropped from her record we immediately consolidated insurance and saved close to $700 a year. Erie gives us great rates, but they're real picky about who they'll insure.

No go here--most quotes well above my State Farm rate, one was close but still higher

Default Likewise. Quotes are comparable to or higher than our State Farm coverages...

on both our cars.

Must be where we live or something like that. Or we have a great State Farm agent.
