I saw in a german mag that BMW is coming out with
a thing called the "X Road" - basically an 'allroadified' 3 series wagon. Just read this in a news stand in Milan airport.

This wouldn't be the X3 is it? They have been talking about that for a couple years to be released in 2003 based on 3 series gear. There is to be an X7 as well.

The one pictured in the article was clearly a 330 wagon elevated a bit
with allroad style matt fender extensions and bumpers, and "x road" stickers on the front doors.
I have no idea what the text said, as it was in german!
